Today and yesterday, we did an activity to see how an animal can be classed as a living thing using MRS GREN. MRS GREN is an acronym used to show that a life form is living. I chose to do mine about a beaver. I had to show how a beaver moves, respires, senses, grows, reproduces, excretes, and eats. I enjoyed finding the information for growth. Growth was fun because the information was interesting and I learnt lots of new and awesome facts about a beaver like if a beaver stops chewing their teeth will grow through their head. I found it tricky finding the info for excrete. The info for excrete was hard to find and a bit weird like brown slimy stuff comes out of their castor gland. The learning behind this task was to identify if this life form was living or not.
