Kia Ora everyone,
For the last couple days we have been doing experiments with yeast, sugar, and hot water to see if it will blow up a balloon. First, we had to write a brainstorm about how we would get off the island with those ingredients. After that, we had to write a predictions of what is going to happen. Next, we had to write the observations about how it smelt tasted looks sounded Felt. After that, we had to write the conclusion. Next, I had to write a big question mine was if we triple all the ingredients and finally the creative writing about how I would escape. I was fun writing the creative writing and it was tricky thinking of the big question. The learning behind this task was to see what would happen if we added yeast, sugar, and hot water.

Here is my work:
Hi Sam my name is Zane and I am a year 6 student at Paihia School. I really liked your blog post about the experiments you’ve been doing because it reminded me of when I also did experiments. I really liked the way that you put a presentation because it made it much easier to understand what you were talking about. To improve you could maybe write about what you learnt more instead of writing what you did or what you had to do.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you learn during the experiment?
Hi Sam my name is Jade and I am a year 6 student at Paihia School in Te Ngahere. I loved reading your interesting and well described piece of writing, it was so enjoyable I just wanted to read more and more. You had a really cool experiment and you sounded like you really wanted to achieve it, I hope you have fun at all of the other things you do. Do you want to do it all again?
ReplyDeleteBye!
