5 Second Rule Poem

Kia Ora Everyone,
Today, we made poems about our science fair topic, mine was about the five second rule. First we had to brain storm ideas about our poem then we had to add more words in to make it rhyme. We had to do the "3 rs" which means Rhythm, Rhyme, and Repetition. I really enjoyed seeing it come together at the end. It was tricky finding word to rhyme with words like mould and germs in my writing. The learning behind was to learn more about our science topic.

Measurement, Area & Perimeter

Kia Ora everyone,
For the last week or so, the whole class has had to work out a slide about area and perimeter. It was easy... doing nothing. The whole slide was super duper hard but, it was a good challenge. It was hard doing everything the hardest part was measuring the perimeter when there were blocks hanging over the edge. The learning behind this task was to learn about area and perimeter.
