Kia Ora everyone,
This term, the whole class has been doing mixed-ability maths. How I feel about it? I like mixed-ability maths because it's fun and challenging. What I enjoyed? I enjoyed teaching people maths strategies that I know and they don't, sometimes they teach me strategies I don't know. What I found difficult? My group would sometimes be silly and wouldn't want to learn. Why I found this difficult? Because sometimes I would have to do all the work by myself. What I can do to change my negative thinking? Nothing I like mixed-ability maths, that is my thinking about mixed-ability maths.

My Maths Understanding
Kia Ora everyone,
For the last two days, in maths the whole class have been making DLO maths problems using equal adjustments to solve addition problems. First, we had to make a google drawing and solve the problems the teacher gave to us using equal adjustments. I enjoyed adding and taking away numbers from the equation to make it a tidy number. I found it tricky to solve the last problem because you had to trade the numbers. The learning behind this task is to show our understanding for equal adjustment and place value partitioning.
Here is my work:
